- Why approach Summit?

THE ISSUE

Already very successful in its niche market, the client realised that following a merging of two specialist teams into one team had resulted in a collective habit of silo working. Team members, each having their own specialist role, were doing their job well, but an opportunity to remove perceived and actual obstacles to greater effectiveness, as well as develop a collective understanding of and commitment to more collaborative teamwork existed.

I just want to say a BIG thank you to Scott, Dirk and Rob from Summit for helping us with an amazing morning looking at team effectiveness and emotional intelligence. We had a really good time and team members really engaged with all the activities and Summit were really engaging.
- How Summit can help

The solution

25 participants enjoyed a highly interactive, intellectually challenging, and light-hearted half day team building event in London, hosted at the University of Greenwich.

The ‘get up and have a go’ positioning enabled each and every participant to learn a range of specific, proven, easy to apply tools, skills and approaches that would enable them to:

Manage their time, focus and energy more productively.

Develop high trust, collaborative relationships quickly with colleagues.

Understand how to anticipate and quickly solve complex problems.

Actively promote personal ownership and collective accountability for results.

Appreciate that each team member positively or negatively impacts the Emotional Climate.

Proactively manage stressful situations and communications more effectively.

It was really good to get us all on the same page. We thoroughly enjoyed the team building event and highly recommend Summit.
