The Emotional Intelligence Coaching Scam

Emotional intelligence is now becoming more popular than ever rather in the same vein as mental health awareness because of lockdown because of remote team working because of isolation and in my area it's because executives are really struggling on occasions to make tough decisions that need to be made communicate tough messages that deserve to be understood and communicated.

But there's a scam going on. And its regarding the use or misuse of the EQi 2.0 psychometric assessment tool. It's the world's only scientifically validated EQ assessment tool and it's the world's most popular in terms of organisational use.

Now this is external partners external providers. Not all but some have been identified as gaining access to the workplace report which in order to gain access to this report you need to have studied and passed an exam in terms of how to administer interpret and facilitate the feedback provided in this extensive report that the trusting client will access.

Now in order to access this and bring it to life first of all you need to have passed the exam and be certified as a certified practitioner of the EQi 2.0 and indeed the EQ 360 psychometric tool as well.

So if you're going to bring the information in this report to life, you've got to be able to interpret accurately competently the data extensive data in this report, but if you've never studied the subject never become certified and never invested in having any element of integrity how can you bring this to life for the client who's paying you to do so?

YOU CAN’T!

but this is a scam that is going on at the minute where a certified practitioner one or more is passing on and providing access to these reports to someone that is uncertified unqualified and probably not insured even to administer this kind of assessments.

One person I spoke with who was actually caught out by me told me over the phone ‘Well, I'm just good at giving feedback so that's what I did.’

He had no idea of what underpins the report how to help someone understand if they had high Assertiveness and low Impulse Control what the implications might be for him her or the people that worked alongside or for them.

No idea, but they still did the feedback delivering no value and they still took the money.

This is a soap box moment for me because I'm quite passionate about Emotional Intelligence and partnering that with an element of Integrity as well as competence.

Below this message is a list of people some people that have invested in themselves invested in learning how to use the EQi 2.0 and EQ 360 and have successfully passed the globally recognised certification.

They've passed the exam they put in the time and energy and effort.

Don't get caught out by external providers partners or scammers that really are selling you The Emperor's New Clothes.

There's nothing underpinning their offering.
