Your Team Challenge
Wobbly Tubes is a fun team building icebreaker which can be run on any type of team building event, inside or outside. The goal is to successfully transfer golf balls through tubes of plastic guttering from the start line to the finish – without dropping any. OK, it sounds simple right?
But the real challenge is to manage resources as effectively as possible. A real challenge that your teams may face in the workplace. Unfortunately, there aren’t enough gutters (resources) for everyone, so the team will need to figure out how to keep the balls off the ground and deliver this ‘project’ successfully! Will they focus on the problem? Try to negotiate for more resources? Collaborate and generate practical solutions? Or something else?
Your Team Learning
This team building icebreaker can be run as a competition between two teams or more, or as a fun activity to encourage hands-on participation and collaboration. Effective communication, priority management, forward-planning and problem-solving are essential for success in Wobbly Tubes and our specialist team can seamlessly weave the learning from this activity into a worthwhile management training or team building event.
Who For?
This hands-on, ‘brains-on’ team building activity can be designed for groups of between 10 or 100 people. It’s a fantastic stand-alone activity and can also be included in a training programme focusing on developing managers, customer service teams and sales teams to collaborate more effectively.
