Team Building 1 Day Event B

Our aim is to create an environment that allows barriers to be removed naturally, enabling the team to enjoy its time together as well as learn from it. The event will build and continue the development of relationships, communication and mutual support back in the workplace.

Stage II objective based team day focusing on behaviours, preferred team roles and strengths and weaknesses. With personal reviews of learning back into the workplace. A great fun learning day!

  • 9.00 Arrive, coffee and introduction to the Summit team.
  • 9.30 Introductions by Manager.
    Explain safety. Facilitate expectations; introduce objectives & style of reviews. Key questions include:
    What was strength? What can we improve? What can we take back to work?
  • 9.50 Ice-Breaker: Sort teams and do Ice-breaker – who do you know?
  • 10.30 Team Development Exercises
    A series of short informal projects designed to explore different aspects of teamwork. These are problem-solving exercises that quickly demonstrate to delegates the need for effective planning, management of time, people and material resources. Review sessions focus on relating the learning to work. Some of the issues raised will be team skills, problem solving, decision-making and a little leadership
  • 11.00 Review of Development Exercises
    The group will spend time reviewing their indiviual successes and identifying weakeness to address in terms of team focus, results achieved and communication systems. Facilitated in a light hearted, supportive manner, this is very solution focused for everybody’s benefit.
  • 12.00 Lunch
  • 1.00 The Bomb
    This is one of the most tense and exciting team tasks ever designed by the Summit team. The objective is to simply diffuse a Bomb! Teams being teams often dive straight into this task wanting to touch and get hands on. The atmosphere is pressured, tense and exciting.
  • 3.00 Team Planning Task – Lego Land
    Planning, timing, teamwork and leadership will be the key elements with this task. Success can seem inevitable until the last minutes! More challenging than it sounds.
  • 4.00 Action Planning
    An action planning session for each individual to identify specific, actionable and achievable goals for their future development. This will be followed by a facilitated team action planning session, identifying what can the team take back to work to continue to build better team relationships.
