Your Team Challenge

The Titanic has sank to the bottom of the ocean (tube actually) and your team has been charged with responsibility for the salvage operation to successfully raise the Titanic.  Keeping dry is a bonus!

Your team has a maximum of 15 minutes to devise a plan and method of salvaging the Titanic and successfully return it to the surface, and present it to an admiring audience. At your disposal you have a bucket of water which can be refilled if required. Your team will need to use all of their problem solving skills to figure this one out, as they will encounter many unexpected problems along the way.  And yes, there are rules and boundaries your team will need to work within. They include:

• No member of your team is allowed to reach down towards the Titanic.
• The tube must stay perfectly upright at all times and is not allowed to tilt or fall over.
• No solid object may be inserted down the tube.
