Royal Air Force - Emotional Intelligence

ISSUES

Acknowledged as the world’s leading organisation of its kind, the organisation understandably operates in a ‘command and control’ environment.

The Personnel leader wanted to explore how Emotional Intelligence could be applied in the military environment to enable leaders, managers and instructors to add Emotional Intelligence skills, tools and techniques to their arsenal and improve individual and collective effectiveness, collaboration and performance.

SOLUTION

Following in-depth dialogue with the client, Emotional Intelligence expert Scott Watson designed and presented two bespoke Emotional Intelligence Masterclass keynotes to audiences in London including senior and seasoned military leaders, and junior personnel who had only recently joined the military.

Interactive, thought-provoking and entertaining, each Emotional Intelligence keynote focused on the practical application of Emotional Intelligence skills in this unique arena.  Details of the project are confidential, but please review the client testimonial below to obtain the client’s thoughts on the learning experience.

CLIENT FEEDBACK

I would like to take this opportunity to extend my gratitude and thank you for your informative, well presented and highly enjoyable keynote presentations on Emotional Intelligence.

The topics you covered have generated debate on learner centric learning and how we, as facilitators and educators, can invest time and energy in delivering self-awareness and emotional intelligence training to equip and enable our future military leaders.

As a Squadron we pride ourselves on delivering the most up to date information pertaining to leadership and management, and we always seek opportunities to enhance the quality of product we deliver.  I believe your masterclasses have provided my instructors with an insight that will likely change how they approach both their training delivery, and interactions in the workplace.

Once again, thank you for providing a more detailed insight into Emotional Intelligence.
